This collection is based on the Caroline Finial, named after Princess Caroline, daughter of George II, 1713-1757.
The antique original, beautifully decorated and distressed with age, and probably from a later period after the French Revolution, gives inspiration for the Trianon grey, greens and French gilt finish. It matches silks and sumptuous velvets for classic interiors.
